Claire Bertenshaw is an Emergency Medicine Specialist who is the Deputy Medical Director at the Queensland Ambulance Service. She works on road with the High Acuity Response Unit and in the Clinical Hub. She is also employed at the Emergency and Trauma Centre at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital. Her special interests include point of care ultrasound, recognition of the deteriorating patient, and the clinical assessment of risk.
