Ambulance services occupy a pivotal role in safeguarding lives and delivering timely medical care to individuals in critical need. To ensure the utmost effectiveness and efficiency of these vital services, continual monitoring and analysis of performance data become indispensable. Recognizing the significance of this endeavour, the Council of Ambulance Authorities (CAA) has undertaken a rigorous and exhaustive analysis of Australian and New Zealand ambulance performance data spanning the period from 2010 to 2022. The primary focus of this poster is to present the salient findings arising from the meticulous examination of the ambulance service workforce, workload, and response data over the past 12-year period. Through shedding light on the evolution of key performance metrics, this analysis aims to fortify the foundation of ambulance services and foster advancements that positively impact the delivery of life-saving care.
