Rob Elliott ASM

Rob is a registered intensive care paramedic who has worked with SA Ambulance Service for over 35 years, initially in operational and clinical roles, before moving into senior leadership positions where he has been responsible for clinical development, patient safety and quality, clinical education, non-emergency and emergency ambulance operations. He became Chief Executive Officer for the service in 2022. Rob is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Paramedicine and received the Ambulance Service Medal in 2014.

As outlined in the SA Ambulance Service Strategic Plan 2023-2027, the service is committed to seeing paramedicine develop beyond traditional roles and activities to better care for South Australians, and ensuring SAAS’s emergency health management capability, preparedness, and response for the State of South Australia.
